Dr. Hewett grew up in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina where most of her family still resides. She attended Clemson University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from East Carolina University.
Following completion of her DMD degree, Dr. Hewett went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at ECU where she gained more training and experience to help better serve her community.
She worked in North Carolina after residency and then relocated to Wichita Falls, Texas in August of 2022 with her partner Spencer, who is an Instructor Pilot at Sheppard Air Force Base.
Dr. Hewett is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, as well as our State and Local Dental Society.
In her free time, Dr. Hewett enjoys watching Clemson football, cooking, baking, and spending time with her dog Waffles and three cats Cub, Dirty, and Tang who are all rescues from both North Carolina and Texas. Dr. Hewett enjoys volunteering and giving back to her community. Dr. Hewett has participated in multiple volunteer opportunities including: The Bernstein Clinic, Dentistry from the Heart, Give Kids a Smile, and NC Mom Clinics.
She looks forward to meeting more of her neighbors in Wichita Falls and getting involved with her new community here.
